“Photography is a game of inches” as the saying goes. It is a magical combination of light and time, a great subject and good composition. Many elements and skills must coalesce at the precise moment the shutter goes off to get a great photo. Cameras are just the tools. The skill is in the knowledge and the application.

Professional Photographer Sunshine Coast

I am fairly certain there are more “professional” photographers on the Sunshine Coast than there are cafes. Every man, woman and their dog, it seems, have stuck their shingle out on a Facebook page, and called themselves a photographer.

I’ve been around a bit longer than that. I have been a photographer since my teenage years in the early 80s. I have been a professional photographer for over 10 years. I have a Diploma in Photography, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. I was a member of the AIPP for a number of years, and I have been awarded a Silver with Distinction at the Australian Professional Photography Awards. I have taught the Diploma of Photography at TAFE, been teaching photography privately for over 10 years and I have a body of work that shows my versatility and attention to detail and quality.

So, while my sessions are not “$50 with 3 free prints”, I more than make up for that with consistent quality and professionalism.
